If you give me a choice I will like to stay in the same asana 24 hours . If that is not possible then do twice a day or 4 times a day or all the times. There is no need to do many things. We have to choose one asana which is comfortable& stable for us. Your system should be at absolute ease. If it does't come at ease you can't perceive anything in life other than phycality.To achieve a state where your asana is comfortable and stable Everyday or twice a day that is not the intention . Intention is we want to knead the body in such a way that we can remould it.

Spine is seen as most important part of the body in Yoga and also in the process of evolution. . Only after getting into Animals moving from invertebrates to vertebrates was a major step in evolution .Another major step in evolution is moving from horizontal position to vertical position.Only after getting into vertical position the development of the brain happened. So in Yoga you might   have seen this head is described as thousand petal lotus.So brain is a flower of the spine. Spine is the stem. So if you want the flower to bloom well , you must nourish roots. Spine is referred to as Merudanda-axis of the universe.Spine is very important part of the body physically, spiritually and mentally. So it is importantwe slowly build the foundation and slowly rise the ladder.Your intelligence does't build in the brain . It builds in the spine. If you cultivate the base of the spine- the way your brain function can be in a big way.. Without activating the root of the spine, you can't grow into any spiritual experience.

Benefits of chanting Mantra

Mantra means a sound, a certain utterance or a syllable. Today modern science sees the whole existence as reverberations of energy, different levels of vibrations. Where there is a vibration there is bound to be a sound. So that means whole existence is an amalgamation of multiple mantras. Of these a few mantras or few sounds  have been identified which could be like keys . If we use them in a certain way, they become a key to open up a different dimension of life and experience within you.

Science Behind Mantras

There are different types of Mantras. Every Mantra activates a particular type of energy in a different part of the body. Without that necessary awareness, just  repeating the sound only brings dullness to the mind. Any repetition of the sound only brings dullness to the mind.When it is done with proper awareness, with exact understanding of what it is , a mantra could be a powerful means. But if it is imparted without the necessary basis  and without creating the necessary situations, it can cause lots of damage because this a subjective science.

Ideal temperature for practices

Human body is most comfortable at approx. 23-25 degree celsius. 24 degree is the most comfortable space. Classical Yoga for tropical countries must be at 8.30-9 am in the morning and in the evening it should be after 4,30 pm because temperture generally drops to that level . When the temp. is hot and you do yoga it will damage the cellular system. When we do Yoga we rejuvenate the individual cells to create a certain basic integrity and strength at cellular level.. It is from this that ageing process can be reversed dramatically . There is enormous amount of reserve  strength which you generate practicing right system  of Yoga. In terms of endurance no body can stand with you. It does't matter, they may be 5 times strong-big muscles.. But in terms of just staying on and doing things-others will not sustain. One who is doing proper Yoga will naturally live through rigors of lives much much better than anybody else ,because there is certain strength and youthfulness in the body. Constant regeneration means all the cells are young- there are no old cells. It will happen best at 24 degree within a span of 15 degree totally on either side. If you do Yoga at that temp. cellular structure strengthens. If you do Yoga at higher temp. you will damage your cellular structure. If you want to do it at lower temp. then you have to warm up your body and then do it. Cold muscles if you stretch you will naturally injure. So between 17-31 degree is ideal.
